Description : |

Ensure
that database systems are adequately monitored. Proactively
monitor database system status to determine early warning
signs of problems.
Understand
internal applications dependent upon SQL server back-ends.
Provide top level support for these applications as necessary.
Work
closely with software engineers to develop and maintain stored
procedures, compiled SQL, etc.
Develop
a system for gathering database performance metrics.
Work
with the development group to define data requirements and
relationships.

Skills:
- Must have strong knowledge of data relationships, data denormalization
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and/or TSQL

- Familiarity and working knowledge of MS-SQL RDBMS
- MS-SQL certification
- Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple priorities
