| |
The
SQA Team Lead would use system analysis skills and experience
to develop and execute effective test strategies, test plans
and test cases. He/She will work closely with the development
team to prevent software defects, detect bugs, track repairs,
and accurately report statuses.
Responsibilities:
1. Apply Systems-level concepts, skills and experience to
develop tests that ensure the quality of its products more
deeply than the level treated by SQA Testers.
2. Develop and implement test plans for new product releases
and upgrades.
3.
Install the product into the QA environment by checking out
the appropriate release from the source code repository, creating
the release, and following the installation instructions for
that release.
4.
Develop and maintain QA documentation for test results, test
plans, and performance benchmarking.
5.
Ensure software releases meet QA specifications with regard
to expected features.

Essentials

BE/MSc
or above
Total experience : Above 5 years
Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
Must
have excellent oral and written communication skills
Should be comfortable working in UNIX, UNIX file system access,
running and editing UNIX scripts and batch processes, and
with UNIX editing tools
Must be experienced and comfortable analyzing and testing
web and Internet applications
Experience in developing Perl and UNIX shell scripts
Must have experience with defect tracking software
Desired Skills:
Understanding of underlying web protocols
Using Windows and Windows NT
Experience with UNIX source control systems, i.e.
CVS, RCS, SCCS, etc

Minimum
3 years project management in s/w consulting environment,
preferably with s/w export companies heading sizable team
required.
Must
have technical leadership in one or more of the following
technologies :
